It is now official, I have committed myself for the next 4 or so years to research in the Dalton group. I am excited about the years to come, and I’m lucky in that I was accepted to a group that didn’t readily advertise itself as seeking new members. There are likely to be many challenges ahead, but I feel that I’m up for it and I get to work in an area that I’ve not had much exposure to in the past. So for now I am excited. I don’t know how long it might take for the excitement to wear off, if ever, but we’ll try to make the best of it while we can.
